Congratulations!
You've set up your Podia account and are now looking at a blank canvas which will turn into your home page! How exciting. If you are using the template, you can skip to the video tutorials below.
- To start, add the main pages you'll need to create the structure (main navigation menu) of the website. To do so, click at the top left and click +New page.
- Add 7 pages: Homepage, About, Coaching, Meditation Library, Events, Blog, and Contact, and under each page Settings, give them a slug to make the URL intuitive.
- Select Homepage and add your first block or section by clicking the +
- Insert 2 Image blocks, an Email form block, a Links block, Bio block, Products block, and Grid.
- Decide on the general look of your site: what color palette will you use? What kind of images? Podia gives access to great images through Unsplash, but you can use tools like GetStencil or Canva to personalize and edit your graphics.
- Header: add your logo or name, and links to create your navigation menu.
- Then turn that first image block into your banner image. Create a graphic with your Business name, logo, and tagline. Add the links for your navigation menu.
- Footer: Insert your social media links.
- Personalize your Bio and link it to your About page.
